Why I started Datatechs.

After years working inside organisations managing Microsoft 365 environments, I kept seeing the same pattern: businesses paying for M365 licences, using a fraction of what was available, and often unaware of the security gaps hiding in the default configuration.

Most IT support providers are built to keep things running, not to close that gap. Even where providers have shifted to a more proactive model, that tends to mean upgrade cycles and hardware replacement, not security-led change or aligning a tenant to a recognised framework or governance standard.

Datatechs exists to do that work properly. Every engagement is scoped against a recognised standard, most often the CIS Microsoft 365 Benchmark, delivered by specialist engineers, and documented clearly enough that you stay in control of your own environment rather than dependent on us to explain it.

I founded Datatechs and lead it, working with organisations across the UK and internationally on Microsoft 365 security, compliance, and governance. Delivery is backed by a network of specialist engineers, so the right expertise is on your engagement, not just whoever's free that week.
